Grayson Cliff

Graduate Research Assistant

Grayson, originally from Sacramento, CA, is a first-year PhD student in Mechanical Engineering in the Webber Energy Group at UT Austin. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with Honors from Clemson University, where he was a member of the National Scholars Program. Grayson's motivation to pursue a PhD stems from his participation in various undergraduate research experiences studying energy components and industrial decarbonization. In addition to his research involvement, Grayson was an avid member of various clubs, organizations, and performing groups at Clemson. He intends to continue his track record of university and community involvement at UT Austin, where he is a trombonist in the UT Jazz Ensemble and general member of the Mechanical Engineering Graduate Student Board.
