Grace is a third-year undergraduate student pursuing a degree in architectural engineering. Her work with Dr. Harry Kennard focuses on building energy efficiency simulation and the effects of insulation and efficiency improvements on internal building temperatures in extreme weather events, with the aim of reducing the risk of cold-related illness.
Prior to her work with the Webber Energy Group, Grace interned with Henderson Engineers to design mechanical HVAC systems, and with BayWa Renewable Energy in project management. She also serves as the Public Relations Chair for the UT Architectural Engineering Institute, and as the mechanical design lead for Solar Decathlon, a net-zero building design competition.
