Catherine hails from Annapolis, Maryland, and completed her undergraduate studies at Rice University in 2024. While at Rice, she served as a laboratory assistant for stress analysis experiments. Additionally, she was the conference chair and president of Rice's Society of Women Engineers, helping to secure internship and job offers for over 50 women. Though Catherine's experience lies in the aerospace industry, she is excited to break into the world of energy in Dr. Webber's lab. Catherine interned at Boeing and NASA twice, respectively, and completed a year of full-time employment with the Boeing Company conducting composite stress analysis for the 787 program. She credits her interest in research to NASA's Electrified Powertrain Flight Demonstration program, where she interned in 2024.
